What is a pediatric dentist?
A pediatric dentist is a dental specialist who has received additional training and certification to treat infants and children and children with special needs. Their extensive training provides them with the knowledge to treat children's specific dental and orthodontic needs. Pediatric dentists can help children have a positive experience during their check-up and learn how to take care of their teeth for years to come. Children’s dentists focus on the prevention and treatment of dental disease, as well as the overall health of the children they treat.

Expert Care For a Life-Long Smile
As a pediatric dental practice, we recognize the specific dental and behavioral needs unique to children, as well as dentition that differs from that of an adult. These needs may include orthodontics, dental sealants, fluoride applications or home treatments, or simple instruction in preventive oral hygiene routines.
We don’t just focus on treating existing dental problems. At Children’s Dental Center, we also focus on preventing problems by educating children and parents. We strive to provide a fun, educational environment where children can learn about the importance of dental hygiene, and how it helps to prevent tooth decay and subsequent treatment.
